Description

We are seeking an OEM Program Manager with 3-5 years of experience in the automotive or related industry to oversee project progress for assigned vehicles. This role requires a strong background in product/project management, cross-functional leadership, and decision-making to ensure milestones are met in line with Volkswagen’s Product Development Process (PEP).

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (preferred).

 

Experience:

  • 3+ years in automotive product/project management.
  • Experience working with OEMs, suppliers, or related automotive sectors in areas like R&D, production, logistics, quality assurance, purchasing, finance, or sales.
  • Prior experience in team leadership within a global company.

  • Experience working with VW AG and its affiliates.
  • Multilingual skills – German or Spanish is a plus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of project progress for assigned vehicles.
  • Ensure milestone completion in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Identify & implement countermeasures for project deviations.
  • Drive cost, timing, and quality objectives per product requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Support top management with briefings and decision papers.
  • Participate in corporate committees, product teams, and project alignment meetings
