EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Develop the transpilation scripts for converting the application from Javascript to Typescript
  • Execute the transpilation scripts
  • Debug and resolve issues in the existing Javascript unit tests post-migration
  • Improve the transpilation scripts based where the errors occur
  • Find and optimize bottlenecks in the typescript code post-migration
  • Because we work on the cutting edge, we need someone who is eager to learn, a creative problem solver, resourceful in getting things to work and productive working independently or
  • collaboratively.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Practical experience developing services in Java, Javascript, Typescript and Node.js
  • Working Knowledge on transpilers like Typescript transpiler and Babel transpiler
  • Working knowledge on JEST and Jasmine test frameworks their difference and their similarities
  • Cloud Native development technologies and typically used software and architecture on Cloud platforms like AWS, Cloud Foundry, or Azure
  • Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms and principles of OO design
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently and have a positive self-motivated can-do attitude
