Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable professional to provide support for our network infrastructure, with a focus on connectivity and system performance at our remote site locations.
This role will involve configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network hardware and software, ensuring reliable communication between the central office and field operations.


Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Assist in implementing security best practices for remote locations (firewall policies, secure remote access).
Maintain documentation of network configurations, IP addressing schemes, and equipment inventory.
Support remote staff with network access issues, and escalate as needed.
Collaborate with OT and operations teams to assess and prioritize network needs at remote locations.
Required Skills:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
2 years of experience in network administration or a related IT support role.
Proficiency with Cisco or similar network technologies.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and subnetting.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and travel occasionally to remote sites.
A 7-year background check is required for NERC CIP Environment responsibilities
