Key Responsibilities

  • Work with partner teams and vendors to manage day-to-day operations
  • Deployment, configuration, and management of all network infrastructure on TB’s store, office, DC, and colocation sites
  • Understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, Security, WAN, and WLAN
  • Collaborate with team members and various groups to identify and develop scalable network designs, solutions, and policy recommendation
  • Monitor and analyze network performance proactively to detect and resolve issues, and perform stringent network testing before implementing solutions
  • Support internal application groups by identifying and presenting network-impacting requirements to other members of the network engineering team
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently
  • Support the Service Desk with troubleshooting circuit, equipment, and network issues and be the senior resource to assist with resolving critical/high impact customer issues
  • Present solutions and make recommendations to departmental leadership
  • Document timely status updates and accurately document problem resolution
  • Assist other Network Engineers on projects, performing various tasks as required
  • Articulate effectively complex ideas/networking concepts through a business lens

 

Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of experience configuring and troubleshooting network routers, switches, and SDWAN for medium and large-sized locations and enterprises.
  • Knowledge of Networks, Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, IP Routing (OSPF, BGP), QoS
  • Ability to support SDWAN and Aruba Enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Experience working with vendors to ensure they meet deliverables\SLAs
  • CCNA, or similar level certification, is the minimum required
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting medium to large enterprise-sized Cisco / Aruba LANS/WANS, exhibiting a proven understanding of established enterprise routing schemes and protocols.
  • Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn on the job and through self-study
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detailed information in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment and handle a dynamic workload and prioritize projects and tasks
