Responsibilities

  • ServiceNow Discovery implementation for large complex environments.
  • Maintain and provide reporting on Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators as it pertains to usage/capacity planning and maintenance of all Corporate Network and Telephony (VoIP/SIP) Infrastructure.
  • Participate in vulnerability scans, patch management, conduct regular monitoring, and provide assistance in security audits.
  • Participate with business units, business operations, and technology teams for incident response, remediation and root cause analyses.
  • Act as the point of contact for technical escalations and outages related to network/telecommunications, conducting additional technical investigations, and engaging with vendor support where required.

Required Skills

  • Hands on senior knowledge of and experience with implementing & supporting current Cisco LAN switching products.
  • Senior level knowledge of TCP/IP networking, IP subnetting, and networking technologies.
  • Senior level troubleshooting skillset related to LAN and WAN technologies including capturing and analyzing packet level data.
  • ‘CCNA’ level of networking knowledge to include routing protocols, TCP/UDP transmission, subnetting and IP transit diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow fundamentals.

Required Experience

  • 5 years of leadership roles focused on data, system, network, telecommunication, and/or cybersecurity.
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting ServiceNow Discovery.
  • Strong Tier II/III experience with routers, switches, firewalls, CISCO gear, preferably Fortinet and/or Juniper; Network transport.
  • Demonstrated experience in Internet, Phone, MPLS/VPLS/LAN-C/SD-WAN, and/or other WAN connectivity providers.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
