Job Description Summary

As a member of the Network Security and IP Services team, you will work with in a team of platform and software engineers to deliver engineering and operational support for Mastercard’s Micro-Segmentation Platforms. As an automation-focused team, we strive for standards-based designs which enable us to build machine-friendly models for automation. You will participate on a high performing team that builds and runs world-class and leading-edge networking technologies that enable our private cloud.
Role:
Responsible for day-to-day operation of our Micro-Segmentation platforms with a focus on DevOps in infrastructure changes, monitoring, and hands on duties.
Work closely with our internal customers to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Represent our team across the enterprise as we play our part in building new data centers.
Work across internal IT teams to untangle complex issues.
Collaborate with other platform and software engineers within our team to improve our build / run posture.
Manage system configurations and infrastructure using industry standard tools.

All About You:
You have hands on experience with VMware NSX in a large-scale environment, including deployment, management, configuration, and troubleshooting NSX Managers, Controllers, Logical Switches, Transport Zones, and the DFW.
You have operational experience with the NSX REST API.
You have operational experience in troubleshooting NSX issues related to ESX and vCenter.
You may have hands on experience with Illumio PCE.
You are familiar with OS virtualization and supporting technologies including VMware ESX and VMware Aria Operations.
You are familiar with CheckPoint operations and management.
You are familiar with scripting and programming languages like Python.
You are familiar with CI/CD concepts and tooling such as Chef, Jenkins, and Ansible.
You have a proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
You can produce quality technical documentation.
You have good verbal and written communication skills.
You are eager to work on an awesome, supportive team.
