Responsibilities:

  • Must be a good communicator and be able to work in a high paced team environment
  • Must be willing to try new things and new technologies;
  • Strong problem solving experience in networking, telecom and video networking is required
  • Install, monitor, manage, and troubleshoot, Cisco equipment including Nexus;
  • Strong background in multi-vendor security devices, ASA, Palo Alto, Client VPN, SSL VPN, IDS/IPS;
  • Support of VPN technologies including SDWAN, IPSEC;
  • Global travel to support facilities and Mergers and Acquisitions;
  • Proven skills in SAN networking design and support including Fiber Channel and iSCSI;
  • Maintains documentation of the companies LAN/WAN infrastructure and security policies
  • Participates in 24x7 on-call rotations;
  • Understands and translates business requirements into technology solutions;
  • Proven track record supporting, monitoring and implementing Voice and Video

  • Working knowledge of networking topologies, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, LAG, Spanning Tree, VOIP, SIP;
  • Circuit provisioning experience;
  • On Premises and Colocation data center experience;
  • Experience in mixed operating system environments;
  • Experience with Virtualization including VDI;
  • Project management experience required
