Description

As a Network Operations Engineer, you will:

  • Support the company's highly technical software and hardware engineering teams by providing tier 2 support for network issues and managing network support ticket queues.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose VPN, Wi-Fi, Internet, and internal network issues.
  • Monitor network and security infrastructure via organizational tools and platforms.
  • Engage with other cross-functional teams to escalate and prioritize support issues.
  • Assist in network deployment and testing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex issues and providing detailed root cause analysis
  • An understanding of network orchestration and automation with Python, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Experience supporting BGP networks along with other advanced routing protocols
  • Fundamental understanding of network security with experience in edge firewall support
  • Fundamental understanding of SSE VPN solutions with widely distributed users
  • A drive to learn and work with industry-leading technologies
  • Ability to provide reliable support to users
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of various technical expertise
  • Attentive listening skills and the ability to synthesize the information provided


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Fortinet firewalls and switching, Ubiquiti Wi-Fi, and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA
  • Experience with Cradlepoint NetCloud and Cradlepoint routers
