Description

We are upleveling this person to a Network Engineering Tech Lead.
Responsibilities to include but not be limited to the following :
·       Implement and Deploy end-to-end lab testbed based on provided requirements: Lead network engineering pods in implementing and deploying end-to-end lab testbeds, providing technical oversight to ensure scalability and alignment with Meta’s data center standards (e.g., spine/leaf, BGP/OSPF/VXLAN).
·       Vendor shall provide qualified network engineers to support installation and decommissioning of cabinets and network equipment: Oversee vendor-provided network engineers, ensuring efficient installation and decommissioning of cabinets and equipment, and standardize processes across pods for reliability.
·       Verify/troubleshoot connectivity and device health of network devices: Guide pods in verifying and troubleshooting connectivity and device health, mentoring on the use of tools like Wireshark and Iperf to diagnose and resolve network issues.
·       Build, maintain, and/or reconfigure lab equipment to support the requirements for the lab teams: Direct the building, maintenance, and reconfiguration of lab equipment, ensuring pods deliver consistent, high-quality testbed setups to meet lab team requirements.
·       Develop Test Automation scripts, troubleshoot network protocols, testbeds and executing test campaigns: Drive the development of advanced test automation scripts using Python and Ansible, oversee troubleshooting of network protocols and testbeds, and lead execution of test campaigns, fostering automation best practices across pods.
·       Configure IPv4/IPv6/Ethernet networking of various elements that are parts of E2E testbeds such as mobile devices, switches, routers, wireless/cellular equipment, servers, including ports, firewall, ACL, NAT rule configuration: Lead pods in configuring IPv4/IPv6/Ethernet networking for E2E testbeds, including mobile devices, switches, routers, wireless/cellular equipment, and servers, ensuring robust port, firewall, ACL, and NAT rule configurations.
·       Configure linux-based systems such as servers, compute, database systems that are part of E2E testbeds, and to inter-network the E2E lab test beds with enterprise systems, production systems and internet access: Oversee configuration of Linux-based systems (servers, compute, databases) within E2E testbeds, guide inter-networking with enterprise, production, and internet systems, and train pods in Linux administration
