Network Engineer

Responsibilities:
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices
Monitor network performance and integrity
Resolve escalated issues by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
Mentor team members on technical issues
Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication, disaster recovery)
Communicate with users when needed
Maintain complete technical documentation
Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
Requirements:
Extensive experience in cloud network engineering (Azure, GCP, OCI, AWS)
Solid background in network administration and architecture
Experience with cloud networks/infrastructure setup, troubleshooting, and implementation
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) and routing protocols
Familiarity with access control models and network security
Proficiency with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds)
Expertise in network operating systems (Cisco IOS, JUNOS)
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and mentor others
Experience with IPSEC and other types of VPN
Knowledge of Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco ASA/Firepower
Understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls
Solid Linux OS experience
Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
