- Handle day-to-day operations and respond to network-related tickets promptly and effectively.
- Handling issues like Network down, Network slowness, BGP Flapping etc.
- Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting network devices like routers, switches, access points.
- Collaborate with site support person to verify the power supply and physical connectivity.
- Engaging ISP and onsite Engineers to resolve internet or link down issues.
- Ensure stable and reliable network services.
- Day-to-day network performance monitoring.
- Network troubleshooting and fault analysis; hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Trouble ticket generation and response; carrier interface and escalations (Internal and External).
- Installation of network hardware and software.
- Completion of Service-Now tickets within the SLA.
- Perform network configuration changes in accordance with change management process.
- Respond to alerts by following documented procedures for verifying, determining the case and resolving or escalating as necessary.
- Create and maintain network documentation as it relates to network configuration, network diagrams and processes.
- Experience in troubleshooting Network traffic Flow, Packet analysis/capture and Monitoring.
- Ability to work independently/under minimal supervision and in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- DDI (DNS), products like infoblox, qip etc. or on Linux based BIND dns servers.”
Qualifications:
Years of exp: 5 -7 Years
- Must to: Routing & Switching, SD WAN, CCNA
- 3-5 years of experience in the Network space across a highly diverse Enterprise o Understanding of Network operating system (Client IOS).
- Proven experience in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Strong understanding of the following technologies: IP Protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP); IP filtering and firewalling; Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS); Quality of Service; MPLS; STP, RSTP, .1q VLANs, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VLAN etc), Wireless (Client and Juniper) and DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM)
- Ability to take ownership of day-to-day network operations and respond to tickets efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with users and cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIS-SP in networking or related fields are a plus.
