Description

The Network Administrator shares responsibility for the operational support of Local Area Networks

(LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs) including both wired and wireless, eFax and VoIP networks. This

role ensures that all parts of the network are functioning properly by monitoring performance of the

networks, identifying issues, and finding opportunities for optimization of bandwidth and speed. The

Network Administrator also covers any changes to the network as assigned by the Network Manager,

including equipment installation, software upgrades, and patching in a manner to minimize disruption of

business operations.


 

Responsibilities

Support LAN and WAN (SD-WAN)

Support Internet Circuits Outages

Configure and Support VOIP and eFax

Support Switches, Access Point and other physical hardware

Monitoring Network for any outages, slowness on networks via Zendesk (support ticketing platform)

and Logic Monitor (Network monitoring solution) and respond to it

Work with end users for any Network, VoIP or eFax related issues

Call store managers for scheduling maintenance or hardware change

Communicating networking issues to other engineer and management

Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the

systems


 

Technical Skills Requirement


 

· Minimum 2-4 years of experience with Network Administration.

· Fundamental Knowledge of Network Protocol

· Experience working with Cisco Meraki Network Switches, Access point

· Experience working with VeloCloud SD-WAN

· Experience working with Cloud Hosted VoIP and eFax, Ring Central is preferred

· Experience working with Network Monitoring tools

· Experience working with Telco to open ticket and get support.


 

· Strong technical documentation skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with end user.

· Keen attention to detail.

· Open to learn and adapt new technologies.

· CCNA certified
