Network Engineer

Role involves project implementation and support
- Job duties include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft, VMware, and networking technologies
- The engineer will configure equipment and software to meet client needs, provide customer training, and document solutions for ongoing support
- The role may involve leading an implementation team on larger projects or providing services individually on smaller projects or support visits
- The engineer may also provide technical support to the sales staff, assisting with the design of Compute/Virtual, SAN and LAN-based solutions
- Key responsibilities include installing and supporting Microsoft, VMware, and networking solutions, migrating and supporting Exchange/Office 365 and Active Directory, configuring and troubleshooting Dell/IBM servers, SANs, iSCSI, and Hyper-V environments, managing SonicWall/firewalls, monitoring and troubleshooting network performance issues, and providing technical support, documentation, and client training
- Requirements include strong expertise in Microsoft, VMware, and networking technologies, experience with Exchange, Office 365, and Active Directory migrations, hands-on experience with servers, SANs, firewalls, and routing, and excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and customer interaction skills
- Preferred: Experience with MSP is a plus
