We, a leading technology company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Network Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in network engineering and a proven track record of managing complex networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of network engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their network needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technology to continuously improve our network infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain network security protocols to ensure the safety and integrity of our data.
- Create and maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and protocols.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of the network to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Manage network budget and resources, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Extensive knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly preferred
