Description

  • Routing and Switching: Experience with Cisco Nexus or Arista.
  • Load Balancing: Familiarity with F5 or A10.
  • Firewalls: Knowledge of Juniper or Palo Alto, and a solid understanding of firewall technology.
  • Python: Ability to run, fix, and edit existing scripts (no new automation required).
  • BGP: Understanding of Border Gateway Protocol.

Formal Job Description:

  • Responsible for data center engineering by working on architecture, design, automation, operational enhancements, and quality assurance testing.
  • Senior level load balancing resource with a background in programming and automation (preferably Python programming experience).
  • Additional knowledge and expertise in support of data center Spine-leaf network infrastructure utilizing a multi-vendor strategy to meet operational demands.
  • Plan, design, and evaluate new datacenter platforms and technologies in a data center lab environment.
  • Utilize architecture and design to enhance network deployments.
  • Update network tools and platforms, including monitoring systems, inventory systems, and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with partners to drive platform features and functions.
  • Understanding of routing protocols including Border Gateway Protocol, Multicast Protocol., VXLAN, EVPN, and IPv6.
