Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for operating and maintaining the health of the network.
  • Operate networks by leveraging the latest in high scale networking hardware, multi-tier topology, and advanced tooling.
  • Solve complex technical problems for customers.
  • Drive technology changes that ensure a safe and reliable network.
  • Manage operational changes, determine root cause of complex issues.
  • Develop automated tooling.
  • Implement design optimizations that drive reliability.
  • Maintain KPIs and deliverables.
  • Reporting and Governance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all levels across all Businesses from operations to senior management.
  • Build strong working relationship with key stakeholder groups - Service Owners / Service Delivery / Service Management / Global Operations Centre / different level of business stakeholders.

Skills Required:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at a senior level as well as all other levels.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate.
  • Competent ITIL skills in Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Experienced people leader, driving a culture of collaboration.
  • Proven crisis management skills.
  • Experienced people leader.
  • Experience in ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of Networking Basics, Routing & Switching, Routing Protocols - BGP & OSPF, SDWAN, Wireless, multi-vendor environment.
  • Prior experience in network operations/support.
  • Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause and permanent fix to the problems.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • ITIL certified
