Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating and maintaining the health of the network.
- Operate networks by leveraging the latest in high scale networking hardware, multi-tier topology, and advanced tooling.
- Solve complex technical problems for customers.
- Drive technology changes that ensure a safe and reliable network.
- Manage operational changes, determine root cause of complex issues.
- Develop automated tooling.
- Implement design optimizations that drive reliability.
- Maintain KPIs and deliverables.
- Reporting and Governance.
- Build and maintain relationships with all levels across all Businesses from operations to senior management.
- Build strong working relationship with key stakeholder groups - Service Owners / Service Delivery / Service Management / Global Operations Centre / different level of business stakeholders.
Skills Required:
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at a senior level as well as all other levels.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate.
- Competent ITIL skills in Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Experienced people leader, driving a culture of collaboration.
- Proven crisis management skills.
- Experienced people leader.
- Experience in ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of Networking Basics, Routing & Switching, Routing Protocols - BGP & OSPF, SDWAN, Wireless, multi-vendor environment.
- Prior experience in network operations/support.
- Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause and permanent fix to the problems.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- ITIL certified
