Required Skills:

 

  • 8+ years of experience required, extensive experience with LAN/WAN network design, engineering, and code/ feature certification/validation.
  • Experience with testing design and certification of products in LAB environments a MUST
  • CCNP level experience.
  • Strong Knowledge of working with protocols such as , IOSPF, BGP, QoSPSec, PIM
  • Strong Experience with Cisco Platforms such as Catalyst, Nexus, Dell Mi/o, HP 6120/ 6125/ Moonshot family
  • Experience with MAB/ Port Security/ NAC/ 802.1x
  • Strong Knowledge of Certification of new code, and bug Scrubs on IOS/XE/NXOS/ and limited XR
  • Experience with Arista Platforms such as 7280, 7504 etx .
  • Experience developing strategies with multiple vendors
  • Experienced with creating design documents for each certification which includes engineering guidelines. -Experience with Tools such as IXIA to test and certify various designs and troubleshoot networks issues.
  • Good knowledge IP Routing BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS, L2-VPNs, Spanning-tree protocol,
  • Understanding of network protocols, network platforms such as Cisco/Juniper/Arista to design and troubleshoot new implementation. Wireshark Multicast: IGMPv2/3, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM, AutoRP , BSR, Static RP, RP-Anycast, MSDP
  • IP Routing Platforms ISRg2, ASR1K, Catalyst, Juniper MX a plus L2 and L3 QoS
  • Cisco Switching Platforms Cat3K, 4K, 6K, SUP6e/6le/7e/7le/8e SUP32, SUP720. Extensive knowledge of Switching and Switching mechanisms like CEF, TCAM
  • Knowledge on Arista and/ or Juniper switch/ routing platforms are a plus
  • Understanding of new protocols being deployed intra and inter Data Center( LISP,VXLAN , NV-GRE, eVPN )
  • AWS (or Azure cloud equivalent)... Cloud Computing direct connect/Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon Simple DB, Amazon Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon DNS and other se
  • Data Center power and cooling, cabling 10/ 25G/40G/50G/100G desired
  • Cloud computing, Virtualization industry standard and trends, server technologies a plus
  • Router hardening technologies, DDoS mitigation, routing protocol encryption, SSH
  • implementation, out-of-band network design, 802.1x, NAC, IPSec
  • Manage vendor, coordinate testing and evaluate PoC
  • Possess ability to interpret data quickly and effectively.
  • Possess ability to perform very complex implementations with little or no guidance and/or oversight from a project manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
