Requirements and/or Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Emphasis in Information Systems, Computer Science. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Professional certifications in disciplines such as, Agile, Networking, Security (e.g., SAFe, CCNA, DevOps, ITILv4 etc.) preferred.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Development or coding basic knowledge of Python or JSON
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals including OSI knowledge and routing and switching.
  • Experience with wireless technologies (Aruba wireless, Aruba ClearPass preferred)
  • Cloud network understanding and experience (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud preferred)
  • Experience with SDWAN (Cloudgenix / Palo Alto preferred)
  • Familiarity with access control models and network security.
  • Fundamental understanding of generative AI and ML tools and technologies
  • Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (Python, JSON).
  • Experience with automating network tasks preferred.
  • Experience with network diagramming, diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (SolarWinds, Aruba Central, Palo Alto Panorama, Lucidchart).
  • Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS).
  • Sharp troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to quality, care for detail and solution oriented, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn, collaborative, team focus and great communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Balance and complete projects on time
  • Understand Agile principles including but not limited to Kanban, Sprints, Daily Standup

Prior Work Experience

  • Experience delivering complex technical projects in a medium to large size organization.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working in networking / DevOps preferred
  • Cloud based project work preferred (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience in implementing Agile based delivery for both infrastructure and development-oriented projects a plus
  • Other previous technical certifications are a plus: AWS, Azure, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.
  • Expertise in one or more standard Project Management tools: SmartSheet, MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote
  • Experience in one of the following areas:
    • Contact Centers, Data Centers, Digital Transformations, etc.
    • Supporting mixed technology environments: Windows, Unix, Linux, Solaris, etc.
    • Telecom/Network project experience preferred: MPLS, Firewalls, VPNs, VoIP, IVR, Contact Centers
    • Disaster Recovery testing
