Architecture Planning, Migration & Installation
- Provide adequate support in architecture planning, migration, and installation for new projects within the tower (platform, database, middleware, backup)
- Lead the structural/architectural design of platform/middleware/database/backup systems based on system requirements to ensure scalability and extensibility
- Conduct technology capacity planning by analyzing current usage and forecasting future needs
- Leverage new features of underlying technologies to ensure optimal performance and smooth functioning of platforms, databases, and applications
- Strategize and implement disaster recovery plans, including creation and execution of backup and recovery procedures
Tower Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day operations by troubleshooting issues, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementing permanent fixes
- Plan and oversee upgrades, migrations, maintenance, backups, and configuration tasks within the tower
- Continuously monitor and review technical performance to optimize efficiency, fine-tune system performance, and reduce challenges
- Develop and maintain shift rosters to ensure continuous support coverage and avoid operational disruptions
- Create and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Data Responsibility Matrices, operations manuals, daily test plans, and data architecture documentation
- Provide weekly status reports to client leadership and internal stakeholders, covering progress, updates, ongoing activities, and upcoming steps
- Leverage technology and automation tools to implement a Service Improvement Plan (SIP), improving service delivery through process automation and innovation
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of customer network architectures
- Validate Scope of Work (SoW) and perform Due Diligence to identify gaps
- Develop detailed documentation including SMTD, MOPs, and SOPs with full understanding of customer environments
- Conduct reverse knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to L3/L2 engineers; secure sign-off from customers and stakeholders
- Perform change management on customer network devices to support remote management and monitoring tool integration
- Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams and comprehensive documentation sets
Qualifications:
Network Architecture & Design Expertise
- Proven expertise in Global WAN and LAN/WLAN network design and implementation at enterprise scale
- Specialized in planning and executing WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi transformations and migrations
- Extensive experience in the design, solutioning, build, and deployment of advanced networking technologies
Advanced Technology Proficiencies
- VPN Technologies: IPSec, DMVPN, MPLS VPN
- Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS
- MPLS and Multicast network technologies
- Proficient in route-map, prefix-list, community, and policy-based routing
- Strong knowledge in LAN technologies: VLAN, VXLAN, VSF
- Wi-Fi expertise in predictive survey, access point design, and RF optimization
- Skilled in creating high-quality HLD (High-Level Design) and LLD (Low-Level Design) documentation
Project Management & Planning
- Skilled in identifying cross-functional dependencies across technology and business teams
- Experience in activity sequencing, task scheduling, and project planning
- Proficient in network testing and validation, including test planning and detailed test report generation
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge in designing Global WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi and SD-WAN solutions
- Expertise in NNI solution design across multi-service provider environments
- Skilled in implementation and troubleshooting of WAN, LAN, WAN Optimizers, and Wi-Fi infrastructures
- Strong understanding of Internet, WAN, and MPLS technologies
- Hands-on experience in network management and monitoring tools: SNMP, NTP, Logging, TACACS, SSH, Telnet
- Proven ability in configuring complex routing scenarios involving BGP, MPLS VPNs, route-map, prefix-list, and QoS
- Preferable certifications from Cisco, Juniper, or other major vendors at advanced/expert levels
