HPE Aruba and Juniper networking skills are a must for the candidate.
Knowledge of EVPN-VXLAN underlay / overlay network or working with a HPC environment
Build network configurations for L2/L3 connections.
Troubleshoots network between upstream to server connectivity

Attend key project meetings
Participate in technical and project meetings as required for migration planning.
Raise and execute change controls.
Provide migration support/Connection/liaison with site hands where necessary.
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g. routers, switches, Wireless Controller, access points)
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Establish/design network and system configuration and directing system installation.
Defines, documents, and enforces network standards.
Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages, and scheduling upgrades.

Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
Network change, capacity management, and life cycle support
Plan and execute technical activity in depth, influencing the direction of activities/plans and providing technical insight and guidance to others
Investigate and help resolve issues on customer’s network and IT estates using agreed troubleshooting methodologies
Handle Escalations. Manage Customer Stakeholder
Conduct meetings to showcase achievements, capture and drive expectations
Bring in Automation, Value adds by improving existing technical / processes in the account
Ensuring accurate recording of all cases using the Company’s ticket management tool and closing within agreed timeframes
Using the central document repository, to ensure knowledge sharing across the team and enable best practice
Supporting and taking ownership of ad-hoc projects
Supporting a wider team with knowledge share, via knowledge base communications (emails, how-to guides etc.) and contribution at team meeting
Job Specifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant business experience
Has 12+ years of related work experience
Industry certification is a plus
Possesses highly developed technical expertise in multiple key operating/networking system or subsystem areas
Able to operate independently in developing and implementing the most complex technical solutions
Where applicable, demonstrates experience supporting in-house developed business applications and working directly with application development teams
Able to leverage scripting and other tools to automate routine tasks
Through product research and personal experience, able to articulate strategies for appropriating various software and technologies to meet long range computing requirements
Has good human relations skills; able to work productively in team setting
Able to drive resolution of highly complex technical problems
Able to effectively summarize and clearly communicate software/hardware problems involving multiple support team(s)
Organized, able to follow through and complete projects with minimal supervision.
