Network Architect

• Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software.
• Determines integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
• Coordinates design and integration of total system including subsystems.
• Performs onsite data center support that includes problem management, change management, project support and new implementations.
• Supports testing, planning, problem management, change management and staging of network hardware and configurations.
• Provides customer support including testing network hardware and software, equipment installation and turn-up, and remote hands assistance as required.
• Provide support for sniffer and various application analysis tools for benchmarking and troubleshooting.
• Participate in identification of root cause analysis, resolution, outage mitigations, testing and implementation of vendor/IT fixes or design changes.
• Review proposed tech system designs in collaboration with team.

• Work with Chief Architect on baseline network architecture and figure out how to integrate into networks – proposing changes / use cases
• This group provides proof of concepts for customer-facing labs
• Provide replication services to try out new architectures
• Heavy into connectivity (labs datacenter)
• SD-WAN env. (nice to have) and Cloud
• Implementing Netbrain to allow customers to replicate architectures
• Making sure Netbrain has visibility to devices (ex: VeloCloud)
• Understanding Ansible part of Netbrain is preferred (any integration in *vSphere)
• Someone who is very experienced with Netbrain
• Lab env., setting up multiple platforms (overlapping layer 3 and labs network)
• Helping figure out pros and cons of using centralized location or setting up two separate platforms
• Looking for someone who's not easily frustrated with dynamic env.
• Have two other Netbrain SME’s they’d be working with
