Job Description:
Minimum Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of relevant experience with network infrastructure, access control, surveillance, telecommunications, life-safety, or building automation technology and systems.
  2. Experience in network cabling, structured wiring, and physical technology installations.
  3. Experience installing and supporting a variety of IT resources that enable daily business functions such as A/V technology, web-conferencing solutions, or point-of-sale equipment
  4. Working knowledge of network connectivity troubleshooting, with the ability to identify issues and coordinate with external service providers.
  5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Strong understanding of IT industry best practices and security standards.
  7. Strong attention to detail and experiencing creating clear documentation of complex technical systems, workflows, and procedures.
  8. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to evolving infrastructure needs.
  9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal or external partners.
  10. Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide.
  11. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and access mechanical spaces as needed.
  12. Ability to work in a physically active role, including running cables, mounting equipment, and working in network closets.

Additional Qualifications

  1. Experience with state, local, or federally funded IT infrastructure projects
  2. Experience with surveillance solutions or hardware including Avigilon, Exacq, and Axis
  3. Experience with card access systems including Software House C•CURE 9000
  4. Experience with network infrastructure solutions including Cisco and Ubiquiti
  5. Experience with IT network services including DNS, NTP, DHCP, Active Directory, etc

Education

Any Graduate
