Job Description:
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience with network infrastructure, access control, surveillance, telecommunications, life-safety, or building automation technology and systems.
- Experience in network cabling, structured wiring, and physical technology installations.
- Experience installing and supporting a variety of IT resources that enable daily business functions such as A/V technology, web-conferencing solutions, or point-of-sale equipment
- Working knowledge of network connectivity troubleshooting, with the ability to identify issues and coordinate with external service providers.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of IT industry best practices and security standards.
- Strong attention to detail and experiencing creating clear documentation of complex technical systems, workflows, and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to evolving infrastructure needs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal or external partners.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and access mechanical spaces as needed.
- Ability to work in a physically active role, including running cables, mounting equipment, and working in network closets.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with state, local, or federally funded IT infrastructure projects
- Experience with surveillance solutions or hardware including Avigilon, Exacq, and Axis
- Experience with card access systems including Software House C•CURE 9000
- Experience with network infrastructure solutions including Cisco and Ubiquiti
- Experience with IT network services including DNS, NTP, DHCP, Active Directory, etc
