Network Administrator

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks.
Manage firewalls, routers, switches, and other network hardware.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Ensure network security through firewall configurations, patch management, and intrusion detection.
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
Work with cloud-based networking solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Maintain IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.
Collaborate with the IT team to support server administration and virtualization.
Manage network access controls, permissions, and user authentication (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.).
Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in network administration or IT infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Wireshark).
