Job Description

- Deploying & managing NetApp storage primarily ONTAP.
 

- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to NetApp storage, connectivity, performance.
 

- Hardware Return and Replace: Coordinate and manage hardware RMA (Return Material Authorization) processes. Handle the logistics of returning, replacing, and tracking faulty hardware components.
 

- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates, explanations in a clear and professional manner.
 

- Collaboration with NetApp Support: Work closely with NetApp support to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
 

- Internal Reporting: Create and maintain reporting as per requirement. 
 


 

Requirements

 - Certifications: NetApp ASE2 or ASE3 (Authorized Service Engineer) certification (Preferred)
 

Hours of Work
 

- Normal working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm with one (1) hour break.
 

- Standby 24x7
 

Experience:
 

  - Minimum of [3-5 years] of experience in NetApp storage support.
 

  - Experience in hardware return & replace management.
 

- Technical Skills:
 

  - Familiarity with storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FC) and network infrastructure related to storage.
 

- Additional certifications in storage or networking (e.g., NCDA, NCSA). (Preferred)
 

- Knowledge of NetApp storage solutions, including ONTAP, SnapMirror, SnapVault, and NetApp data protection solutions.
