This is for Wisconsin based candidates only (OR those willing to relocate to wisconsin within 30 days of the start date). Candidates that are not located in Wisconsin or not willing to relocate within that timeframe will not be considered and should not be submitted. All work must be done in Wisconsin. This is 90-100% remote but can require staff to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice.
Required Education:
• Requires a bachelor's or associates degree in area of specialty
Required Experience & Skills:
• Strong technical skills with C# and ASP.NET, .NET Core, VB.NET, .NET Framework (7+ Years)
• Technical mastery of JavaScript and jQuery, and KendoUI (7+ Years)
• Demonstrated expertise with SQL Server, DB2 and Oracle (7+ Years)
• C# and ASP.NET development experience (7 Years)
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core 6/7/8 (7 Years)
• Strong skills in debugging legacy codebase (e.g., VB.NET) (7 Years)
• Understanding of .NET Framework (7 Years)
• Experience with development in and best practices of KendoUI (5 Years)
• Strong proficiency in frontend scripting (i.e.., JavaScript, jQuery) (7 Years)
• Demonstrated experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, indexing, and performance tuning (7 Years)
• Solid understanding of working with multiple RDBMS systems (i.e., Oracle and DB2) (7 Years)
• Ability to handle data integration, migration, and cross-platform queries (7 Years)
• Experience building and consuming web services (7 Years)
• Knowledge of ORM tools and raw data access strategies (e.g., Entity Framework, Dapper, ADO.NET) (5 Years)
• Demonstrated ability with fronted integration using HTML5, CSS3, responsive design and browser compatibility (5 Years)
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit tests for front-end and back-end code(7 Years)
• Experience writing clear and concise technical documentation (7 Years)
• Conducting requirements analysis (5 Years)
• Experience with authentication and authorization techniques and tools (e.g., Okta) (5 Years)

Responsibilities:
• This position will work to support and enhance existing web applications maintained within the Enterprise section
• This person will join an existing team responsible for maintaining and enhancing web-based applications. The preferred candidate will have experience with the tools outlined below
• The intermediate level .NET Web Developer designs, develops, and implements web-based applications using .NET framework to support business requirements
• Includes the use of related development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE and supported programming languages (e.g. C#, C++, bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript).
• Performs development of front-end and back-end development of web applications and web API's (webservices)
• Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
• Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Can perform with limited supervision, code is reviewed by team
• May review junior developer’s code
• The person in this position will work closely with the team in developing the frontend and server side of the web application
• Project duties include requirements analysis, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, and participation in interactive code reviews
• Hands-on development experience as part of a team modernizing government applications will be helpful
• Expectations for this position are development of quality code, following coding standards, active participation in code reviews, sharing expertise, respectful communication, transparency, technical documentation, and the ability to perform production support.
