Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution
  • 8–10 years of experience in Information Technology

Required Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development using C# and ASP.NET Core
  • Strong experience with Entity Framework Core and PostgreSQL
  • Proficient in RESTful API design with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
  • Experience with authentication systems: OAuth2, JWT, Azure Active Directory
  • Solid understanding of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • Hands-on experience with background job processing and scheduled tasks
  • Strong grasp of SOLID principles and clean architecture
  • Experience in unit testing (e.g., xUnit, FluentAssertions) and integration testing
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices using Azure DevOps (ADO)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in energy trading or financial systems
  • Understanding of environmental compliance and carbon credit markets
  • Familiarity with LCFS, RFS, and RINS regulatory frameworks
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services
  • Skilled in data processing and implementing complex business logic/calculations
  • Hands-on experience with Testcontainers for integration testing

Business Domain Knowledge

  • Understanding of biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) markets
  • Knowledge of carbon credit trading and environmental attribute tracking
  • Familiarity with petroleum industry regulations and fuel pathway reporting
  • Experience with inventory management and supply chain tracking
