Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying, requesting and coordinating with APIM related changes as part of migration.
  • Wok with Data architect, PetSmart and Google architects to ensure solution feasibility.
  • Collaborate Skills and Providing Thought Leadership.
  • Help provide guidance on cost-effective process to migrate data.
  • Design best practices in coordination with PetSmart and Google to source events to event driven architecture platform.
  • Work intake, review of code, Secure Coding Practices.
  • API Deployment & Cutover Planning.
  • Work with PM to identify discrete level implementation tasks and help PM manage technical risks.

Required Skills

  • Skilled in .NET API, .Net Core, APIM.
  • Service Bus, Azure Storage, Key Vault, Cosmos DB, Event Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Web Jobs, App Insights.
  • Skilled in Containerization & kubernetes.
  • API SDLC and API Management.
  • CI/CD pipelines, both for API applications and API management.
  • Asynchronous integration patterns (message based, event driven).

Required Experience

  • Experience in Cloud Platform Azure.
  • Experience with enabling the API to API level communication.
  • Experience with Deployment Patterns (Canary).
  • Experience with cloud moves.
  • Experience Migrating traffic to another gateway.
  • Experience with API logging/monitoring within the Cloud.
  • Experience with API Service mesh istio and apigee envoy.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
