MuleSoft Developer

The hiring manager is seeking an MuleSoft Developer to join the RevOps team and primarily focus on MuleSoft integrations, with a significant emphasis on Salesforce. This role involves working with multiple technical squads to support integration projects with various payroll providers. The position requires someone who can balance technical expertise with strong communication skills, as they will need to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms for non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage integrations with various systems, focusing on Salesforce and MuleSoft.
• Collaborate with different technical teams, particularly Squad 42 and Voodoo, to work on integration projects, such as a Salesforce integration with Gusto.
• Engage with key stakeholders, providing technical expertise and guidance on integration solutions.
• Utilize Postman for testing and troubleshooting REST APIs.
• Work on object structure and workflows within Salesforce to ensure smooth integration processes.
• Communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts as needed.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• MuleSoft experience is ideal, with knowledge of MuleSoft’s capabilities for integration and API management.
• Strong experience with Salesforce integration, including knowledge of Salesforce workflows and object structure.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Postman, and testing API calls.
• Ability to work on integration architecture, balancing technical depth with practical implementation.
• Developer skillset with a focus on integration technologies and problem-solving.
• Experience working in a remote setting is preferred, with flexibility to support team members across different time zones.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in the financial industry (e.g., experience with JPMorgan or Morgan Stanley) is a plus.
• Salesforce Solutions Architect or similar certification/experience is beneficial but not required.
• Previous exposure to RevOps or a similar operations-focused role is helpful but not necessary
