Mobile QA

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate [Mobile Manual Testing] + [Cypress/Playwright Web Automation] / [Mobile Detox preferential] to join our quality assurance team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of mobile applications by designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests using Detox [Cypress/Playwright for Web as fallback] along with regular Manual Testing. You will work closely with development and QA teams to drive test automation best practices and help deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements

· Come up with Test Plan and write Test Cases for Mobile Applications

· Execute the Test Cases Manually and provide sign Offs

· Define test automation strategies.

· Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites using Detox to validate web applications.

· Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.

· Identify and report defects, track issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.

· Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.

· Maintain code using Source Control systems majorly Git

· Write clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and test cases.

· Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and share knowledge within the team.

Qualifications:

· BE/BTech/ME/MTech: [Computer Science] / MCA

· 3+ years of proven experience in test automation using Detox[Cypress/Playwright].

. Strong Manual Testing skills

. Strong Communication Skills

· Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript along with OOPS concepts

· Experience with Agile software development processes and practices.

· Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or similar.

· Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques.

· Experience with version control systems majorly Git is a must

· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

· Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, gitlab CI, BitBucket CI , or similar is a must

· Experience with performance testing and load testing tools is a plus.
