Mobile QA Automation Engineer

About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Mobile QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on skills in Selenium, Java, and cloud/devops tools to join our onsite team in Columbus, OH. You’ll work closely with developers, product teams, and design to build high-quality, testable mobile applications that meet real-world performance and accessibility standards.
 

What You’ll Do:
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS)
Write and manage BDD Gherkin scenarios using Cucumber, Appium, and Java
Perform testing using iOS Simulators, Android Emulators, and physical devices
Build integrations into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven)
Collaborate to ensure ADA compliance (WCAG 2.1) in mobile apps
Troubleshoot, triage, and log defects using JIRA
Work hands-on with Terraform, Nginx, and AWS infrastructure (beyond just the console)
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives
 

What You Bring:
8+ years in QA automation with strong mobile experience
Proficiency in Java, with working knowledge of Kotlin, Swift, or JavaScript/React a plus
Strong command of tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions
Experience with Accessibility testing, preferably using Data Watch
Comfortable working onsite in Columbus, OH full-time (Mon–Fri)
 

Preferred:
Formal training or certifications in software engineering or QA
Experience in analytics testing and agile team collaboration
Proven success working in enterprise-level mobile app environments
