About the Role
We are seeking a skilled ML Engineer with expertise in backend services development and a strong understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) and Azure AI platforms. The ideal candidate will support Agentic Services and On Your Data (OYD) products, focusing on automation, scalability, and live-site issue resolution. This role requires a blend of Python (Flask/FastAPI) and C# (ASP.NET Core) development to enhance AI-driven solutions and ensure seamless customer migrations.
Key Responsibilities
AI Platform Support
Maintain and optimize Agent Service and On Your Data (OYD) products in Azure AI.
Debug and resolve AI Quality issues by diagnosing GenAI behaviors and system performance.
Automation & Efficiency
Develop automation tools to reduce human intervention in AI Quality checks and livesite issue resolution.
Improve scalability of OYD to meet high customer demand.
Application Development
Enhance existing sample applications that consume OYD and Agent Service APIs.
Ensure robust integration with backend services (Python/C#).
Operational Support
Participate in business-hour ICM triage queues for live-site issues.
Support customer migrations from Azure OpenAI On Your Data to Agent Service.
Collaboration
Work with cross-functional teams to align solutions with customer needs and platform capabilities.
Required Skills
Primary:
Backend Development:
Proficient in Python (Flask/FastAPI) and C# (ASP.NET Core).
Experience with Azure Services (Agent Service, Azure OpenAI).
AI/ML Understanding:
Familiarity with GenAI workflows, LLMs, and AI Quality metrics.
Ability to debug AI-driven service issues.
Good-to-Have:
Hands-on experience with Azure AI Platform or similar cloud-based ML services.
Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in backend development with Python/C#.
Prior exposure to AI/ML projects (e.g., NLP, GenAI, Azure OpenAI).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
