Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test and implement large Java applications, and databases, following full SDLC process.
  • Read specifications and provide feedback on areas needing more details or questions that need to be answered in order for development to begin.
  • Write extensible code that is well structured, properly documented and is easy to maintain.
  • Provide off-hours support as part of a rotation with other developers.
  • Assist in the development of standards and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of CSS.
  • Ability to determine root cause analysis and resolution of complex performance/stability related issues.
  • Ability to work with peers in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
  • Strong listening, detail-oriented thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on development experience using Jave/J2EE.
  • 3+ years hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL.
  • 2+ years hands on experience with Entity Framework or other ORM technologies.
  • Experience with React.
  • Experience with REST based API development with XML/JSON.
  • Experience with Scrum and / or Agile development methodologies, and lifecycles.
  • Experience with Knockout or Angular.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
