Methods Engineer

Key Skills: New Product Development, BOM, Fixture Design, 3D Modelling

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the new product development process from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specifications and requirements.
• Develop and implement engineering methods to improve product design and manufacturing processes.
• Create and maintain documentation related to product development and engineering methods.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product initiatives.
• Utilize 3D modelling software to create and modify designs as needed.
• Support the creation of Bills of Materials (BOM) and fixture designs to facilitate production.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in New Product Development (NPD)
• Proficiency in 3D Modelling software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo)
• Knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials) creation and management
• Experience in fixture design for production support
• Ability to conduct feasibility studies and implement engineering process improvements
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills

Education: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
