Mechanical Engineer

Concept Development: Lead the design and development of new pump products.

•    Prototyping & Testing: Oversee prototype creation and validation through rigorous testing.

•    Material & Component Selection: Choose optimal materials and components for performance and durability.

•    Failure Analysis: Failure Analysis: Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential design flaws 

•    Collaboration: Work with DFM/DFA Engineer to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. Collaboration with the FEA (CAE, CFD) team

•    Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet industry standards and certifications.

•    Project Management: Coordinate with all the stakeholders, like client, internal team

•    Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency in pump design

Qualifications:

•    Education: Master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical

•    Experience: 8+ years in Pump design

•    Skills:

o    Expertise in High pressure Pump Design and development.

o    Ability to think creatively and apply new technologies like generative design to accelerate product development.

o    knowledge of new product development cycle.

o    Knowledge of DFM/DFA, GD&T in pump design field.

o    Strong knowledge of industry standards and certifications.

o    Knowledge of 3D CAD software preferably Autodesk Inventor.

o    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

o    Effective communication and project management skills
