Description

  • Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, ProE or similar 3D CAD system is required.
  • Experience with SAP, or similar PLM system, is preferred.
  • Experience designing capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is preferred (vacuum vessels, wafer handling, motion mechanisms, etc.).
  • Knowledge of ion beam and/or vacuum physics is preferred.
  • Structural and thermal finite element analysis experience (SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, etc.) is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Able to take initiative, own full projects, and/or lead a small project team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to make technical presentations and interface with all levels of management, suppliers, and customers.
  • Must be hands-on with devices, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of SEMI regulatory standards is a plus.
  • Project management experience is plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to customer sites and supplier facilities as needed
