Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, ProE or similar 3D CAD system is required.
Experience with SAP, or similar PLM system, is preferred.
Experience designing capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is preferred (vacuum vessels, wafer handling, motion mechanisms, etc.).
Knowledge of ion beam and/or vacuum physics is preferred.
Structural and thermal finite element analysis experience (SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, etc.) is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Able to take initiative, own full projects, and/or lead a small project team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to make technical presentations and interface with all levels of management, suppliers, and customers.
Must be hands-on with devices, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of SEMI regulatory standards is a plus.
Project management experience is plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite is required.
Ability to travel up to 10% to customer sites and supplier facilities as needed
