MDM Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled MDM Developer with hands-on experience in Master Data Management systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing MDM solutions with a focus on data quality, hierarchy management, and survivorship rules. Proficiency in SQL and a good understanding of MDM data modeling, match & merge logic, and data enrichment processes are essential. Experience with Python is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain MDM solutions (Informatica MDM, Reltio, IBM MDM, or any other similar platform)

Implement and manage data enrichment processes to improve data quality and completeness

Build and maintain data hierarchies across domains like customer, product, vendor, etc.

Configure and optimize match and merge rules, and develop survivorship strategies

Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to design effective MDM data models

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data profiling, analysis, and transformation

Ensure data integrity and compliance with business rules and governance standards

Troubleshoot data issues and provide scalable solutions

Document architecture, processes, and changes clearly and concisely

Support ETL processes and integrate MDM with upstream/downstream systems

If applicable, use Python for scripting, automation, or data processing tasks

Must-Have Skills:
Strong to Intermediate SQL skills — able to write complex joins, aggregations, and subqueries

Hands-on experience with Data Enrichment and Hierarchy Creation in MDM platforms

Deep understanding of MDM Data Models, Architecture, Match-Merge Rules, and Survivorship Logic

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Python for data manipulation or integration

Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for MDM hosting or integration

Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs for system integration
