MDM Architect

Responsibilities

• Help the MDT subject matter experts and business defining MDM data strategy to ensure that data is accurate, complete and reliable.
• Work as liaison between MDT IT project team and offshore development team.
• Provide inputs during requirement gathering workshop, understand and discuss requirements with MDT if needed.
• Participate/Lead the MDM data and source related discussions with MDT IT & business.
• Outline the Source related challenges in-terms of data ingestion to MDM and suggest possible remediation.
• Provide inputs for the solution design.
• Participate/lead technical discussion on MDM architecture and interact with downstream system stakeholders for downstream system test planning.
• Socialize MDM technical architecture, design document, match rules and data quality profiling for approval with MDT IT.
• Ensure adherence to MDT standards, policies and quality compliance.
• Provide PoV based on previous implementation experiences on MDM design and development Best Practices.
• Provide technical and domain specific inputs to the project team on MDM architecture, data modeling, interfacing with source and downstream systems, standardization, job scheduling etc.
• To ensure a highly scalable and future-proof solution.
• Review overall solution and ensure incorporation of best practices and lessons learnt from prior projects.

Required Skills

• Informatica MDM & Informatica powercenter skills.
• Has excellent data integration skills, understanding solutioning ETL and Data Quality components of MDM solutions.
• Some knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter as well.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong executive presence and ability to interact with top executives.
• Good in communication skills & stakeholder management.

Required Experience

• Experience in working Multiple domains (in single MDM platform).
• Experience in Master Data Management concepts, methodologies and ability to apply this knowledge in building MDM solutions.
• Experienced on Informatica MDM 10.x (10.3, 10.2, 10.0), 9.X along with Provisioning, IDD, HM and Active VOS.
• Hands on experience on IDQ for the profiling of project source data.
• Experience in designing mappings using Informatica Designer and processing tasks using Workflow Manager to move data from multiple sources into targets.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
