Manual Test Engineer

We are looking for a Manual QA test engineer for KualaLumpur

Key Responsibilities: Manual Testing: Develop and execute manual test cases based on requirements and specifications. Identify defects, document them, and track their resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between development and testing phases. Provide detailed test reports and recommendations for improvements. Functional Testing: Understand and interpret functional requirements to design comprehensive test scenarios. Execute functional tests to validate the system’s functionality against specified requirements. Identify and report functional defects, ensuring they are prioritized and resolved. Participate in requirement reviews and design discussions to enhance test coverage. API Testing: Develop and execute API test cases using appropriate tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar. Validate the API endpoints for correctness, performance, and security. Document API test results and provide insights into potential issues. Collaborate with developers to ensure API documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Web Application Testing: Conduct thorough testing of web applications across various browsers and devices. Perform load testing, stress testing, and performance tuning to ensure optimal application performance. Identify and report bugs, ensuring they are documented and tracked effectively. Participate in post-deployment testing to ensure the application meets all quality standards. Automation Testing: Learn and implement automation tools like Selenium, TestRail, or Ghost Inspector to automate repetitive tasks. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing. Collaborate with the develoMonitoring & Logging: Familiarize yourself with monitoring tools like Newrelic to track application performance. Understand and interpret logs to identify potential issues and trends. Security Testing: Conduct security testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Use tools like JWT token and OAuth to secure APIs and web applications. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, test cases, and defect logs.pment team to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration pipe Provide clear and concise test results to stakeholders. Collaboration: Actively participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in QA roles, preferably in web application testing, functional testing, and API testing. Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and tools. Experience with functional testing frameworks and tools. Strong understanding of API testing principles and tools. Knowledge of web application testing techniques and tools
