Mainframe Systems Support Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a Mainframe Systems Support Specialist to maintain and support legacy systems using mainframe programming skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide maintenance and technical support for mainframe applications.
Develop and modify legacy systems primarily in Cobol.
Assist in requirements gathering for IT solutions.
Ensure proper change management for system updates.
Write and update technical documentation clearly.
Monitor defect tracking logs and facilitate problem resolution.
Share knowledge and support team collaboration.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in Cobol programming.
Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with project estimation and data capture tools.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Xgen, Algol, Unisys, and related tools.
