Description

Key Responsibilities: Analyze and modify existing mainframe batch jobs to interface with the new Oracle/PeopleSoft environment.

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.Collaborate with Oracle and PeopleSoft teams to ensure seamless data integration and process alignment.

Participate in data mapping, transformation, and validation activities during the migration.

Update job scheduling and batch processing logic using tool like Zeke or CA-7.Create and maintain technical documentation for modified batch processes and interfaces.

Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and audit requirements.

Support testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of modified applications.

Provide technical guidance and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience in mainframe development with COBOL, JCL, and DB2.Proven experience in batch job modification and mainframe-to-Oracle integration.

Familiarity with PeopleSoft data structures and Oracle database concepts.

Experience with data migration projects and legacy system modernization.

Proficiency in job scheduling tools (e.g. Zeke, CA-7).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills: Experience with eGL (Enterprise General Ledger) or similar high-level programming tools.

Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modernization frameworks. Experience in technical leadership or mentoring roles.

Experience in Python, PeopleSoft, SQL, and Zeke/CA-7Knowledge on Linux operating system
