Description

  • Participate in low to moderately complex technology initiatives and projects, including system installations, upgrades, and deployments.
  • Identify and recommend improvements for service quality and availability within the technology environment.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software for low to moderately complex assignments.
  • Review and analyze technical challenges tied to low to medium-risk deliverables; evaluate and propose alternative solutions.
  • Present recommendations to resolve issues, escalating when necessary to meet service level agreements.
  • Exercise some independent judgment while building an understanding of relevant technology areas, especially regarding security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with technology teams, internal partners, and stakeholders to share updates and technical insights..

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Programming knowledge with COBOL on mainframe systems.
  • Foundational knowledge of Assembler programming.
  • Familiarity with EZTRIEVE.
  • Understanding of VSAM types and defining VSAM structures.
  • Basic knowledge of:
    • CICS
    • JCL
    • PROC
    • Endeavor
    • CA7
    • MQ
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
  • Exposure to Data Space, ServiceNow, Agile methodologies, FMMVS, and basic software testing practices
