Mainframe Developer

You Are:

UST is looking for a Mainframe Developer to join our team supporting a cruise reservation system! As a Mainframe Developer, you'll provide support and enhancements within an ITIL-based service management framework.

The Opportunity:

·       Support and enhance mainframe applications for a reservation system.

·       Work with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, JCL procedures, and VSAM.

·       Utilize XML and support online & batch processes.

·       Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need:

·       4-6 years' Mainframe experience with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.

·       Basic IBM z/OS navigation skills.

·       Experience in support and enhancement projects.

·       Knowledge of XML/APIs.

·       Good communication skills and willingness to work in shifts.

·       Accountability and a desire to learn business knowledge and new technologies.

·       ServiceNow, JIRA.
