Mainframe Consultant

· Perform system monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning to handle business needs effectively.
· Analyze, design, and develop applications in mainframe environments using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
· Provide support for existing mainframe applications, including debugging and resolving production issues.
· Ensure seamless integration of mainframe systems with other enterprise applications and platforms.
· Implement and maintain robust security protocols to safeguard mainframe data and systems.
· Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and operational procedures.
· Train and mentor client teams on mainframe tools, best practices, and processes.

Preferred Skills:
· Experience with batch and online transaction processing systems.
· Familiarity with DevOps practices in mainframe environments.
· Knowledge of cloud and hybrid integration with mainframe systems.
