Job Title:             Mainframe Architect/ Lead with Cobol upgrade
Duration:            6-12 Months

Should have Cobol Cica db2 Jcl
Experience: 12+ years
Role/Responsibilities:
Strong work experience as Mainframe Architect. Should have worked in Architect design and changes.
Experience in Cobol upgrade assessment and strategy
Support customer in defining Cobol upgrade environment, compiler options, etc.
Mandatory Deep Tech Skills – Cobol, DB2, JCL, VSAM, CICS
Optionally Easytrieve and Rexx technical skills
Cobol upgrade experience from any lower version to V5/V6
Experience in executing projects in Agile.
Experience in leading team from onsite, coordinating with offshore.
Build test strategy / plan and support system/QA testing, UAT.
Provide implementation support.
Good written and oral communication skills
Status reporting to customer
Interaction with customer SMEs regularly or on a need basis
Ability to provide technical guidance to team members.
