Mainframe Application Developer "Responsibilities" - Utilize advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines. - Develop Mainframe applications using COBOL with at least 10+ years of experience. - Work on CICS/DB2/VSAM/MQ application development with a minimum of 7+ years of experience. - Utilize Java, JSON, JMS, Kafka, API REST services, Spring Boot, WOLA in application development. - Debug tools like Expeditor for troubleshooting and issue resolution. - Collaborate with large teams to achieve organizational goals. - Stay updated on industry-wide technology trends and best practices. - Build and foster an innovative culture within the team. - Develop applications using financial messaging formats such as SWIFT MT, ISO 20022 pain, pacs, camt message formats. "Required Skills" - Proficiency in Mainframe application development with COBOL. - Experience in CICS/DB2/VSAM/MQ application development. - Knowledge of Java, JSON, JMS, Kafka, API REST services, Spring Boot, WOLA. - Understanding of architecture and design principles across all systems. - Proficiency in developmental toolsets. - Strong understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement. - Experience with File Aid, Stored Procedures, Endevor, CA-7, NDM, MFTS, s-FTP, XML, CLIST, REXX. - Ability to work effectively in collaborative teams. "Desirable Skills" - Experience in application development using financial messaging formats. - Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages. "Education Qualification" - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
