M365 Enterprise Architect

Job Description:

• We are seeking a seasoned Microsoft 365 (M365) Enterprise Architect to lead the design, integration, and management of enterprise collaboration and productivity solutions using the Microsoft 365 suite. 
• The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge across SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Azure AD, and enterprise security, with the ability to design scalable architectures for large, regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and lead deployment of Microsoft 365 solutions, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Intune.
• Develop and document the M365 architecture, governance, and security model.
• Lead migration and transformation initiatives from legacy systems to M365 cloud services.
• Provide technical leadership for M365 integration with Active Directory / Azure AD, conditional access policies, and identity protection.
• Work with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
• Provide roadmaps, HLD/LLD documentation, and work closely with implementation and engineering teams.
• Act as escalation point for troubleshooting complex enterprise-wide M365 issues.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Microsoft 365 enterprise architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Teams (architecture + governance)
• SharePoint Online (site design, structure, retention, permissions)
• OneDrive for Business
• Exchange Online and email security configurations
• Intune (device management, app protection policies)
• Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Identity Management
• Experience designing and securing hybrid environments
• Familiarity with Power Platform and M365 compliance center (DLP, eDiscovery, Information Protection)

Nice to Have:

• Microsoft certifications (MS-100, MS-101, AZ-104, SC-300).
• Experience with M365 migrations (Exchange, SharePoint) from on-prem or other cloud environments
• Familiarity with Collabware, AvePoint, or Quest migration tools
