Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Administration:
- Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintain and update project schedules, tracking progress against milestones.
- Create and distribute clear project documentation, such as status reports, meeting minutes, and project updates.
- Organize and manage project files and records to ensure a clear audit trail.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and information flow throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively identify potential issues and escalate to project managers as needed.
- Conduct and lead project meetings, ensuring follow-up and action items are addressed.
- Resource Management:
- Assist in allocating resources (personnel, equipment, materials) efficiently.
- Coordinate with different departments to secure necessary support for projects.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify and assess potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Track and manage project issues, working with the team to find solutions.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to the review and analysis of project performance.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
- Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, project management) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination or project support role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Team player: Must be collaborative and able to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving ability: Can think critically and propose solutions under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management tools: Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) is a plus.
- Attention to detail: A high level of accuracy and an eye for detail.
