Description

  • Serve as a Linux System Engineer supporting Bank of America’s enterprise Unix/Linux environments
  • Build, maintain, and provide daily operational support for UCAL GWIM, Bacardi, and CARD servers
  • Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions 7, 8, and 9
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in highly critical production environments
  • Utilize shell scripting for automation and process improvement
  • Integrate and manage authentication using Active Directory, QAS, SSSD, etc.
  • Apply strong knowledge of server storage and memory concepts
  • Perform advanced network troubleshooting
  • Operate within BMC Remedy and ITSM environments
  • Use automation tools such as Netcool, Atrium Orchestrator, and BladeLogic
  • Thoroughly document technical processes and procedures
  • Communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to existing systems and processes
