Linux System Administration

We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize Linux-based server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system performance, automation, networking, storage, and disaster recovery planning. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a security-first mindset, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.).
• Monitor system health, apply patches, and ensure service uptime.
• Manage user access, firewalls, and security audits.
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Automate system tasks using shell scripting and configuration tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Troubleshoot system, network issues, and optimize server performance.
• Configure and manage storage (LVM, RAID, NFS, iSCSI).
• Document system configurations and provide training to junior staff.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Linux system administration.
• Strong knowledge of system security, networking, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
• Familiarity with Apache, Nginx, DNS, DHCP, SSH.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
