Description

We are seeking a Linux Engineer to support EDM application operations as a Tier 2 technical lead, while supervising a team of EDM technicians (Tier 1). The Technical Lead will create guidelines and SOPs, oversee escalated tickets, and provide training and mentorship to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between shift members, system engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage SOPs to ensure consistent troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Track and improve KPIs to enhance team performance.
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support and resolve escalated tickets.
  • Coordinate with HQ EDM team for Tier 3 support when necessary.
  • Conduct training sessions and drill tests to assess team readiness.
  • Assist in policy and procedure improvements for better operational efficiency.
  • Support management meetings, MBO evaluations, and reporting for senior leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in supporting/troubleshooting applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluency in Korean and English (written and verbal).
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux OS (CentOS, Rocky, or RedHat).
  • Strong expertise in server and application support.
  • Experience in reporting and evaluation processes for senior leadership.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Apache, Tomcat, or other middleware systems.
  • Understanding of manufacturing system operations and preventive maintenance.
  • Strong customer service skills with experience resolving technical issues.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of networks, servers, applications, OS, databases, and MS Office
